‘Stories of Survival: A Charity Anthology from Australian Speculative Fiction

I’m so, so, so, so, SO excited to finally share this with everyone. My short story ‘Divine Engineer’ is included in ‘Stories Of Survival’ from Deadset Press. I can’t even begin to describe how much this story means to me.

Most people know my dad passed away from cancer last October, and I wrote this as a homage to honor him and his life. It’s a science fiction story about an elusive research institute that claims to have the cure for cancer. I started writing it when my dad was still alive, and to see it in print after he’s passed is bittersweet.

The anthology is a project of passion from the Australian speculative fiction community and is dedicated to our beloved Aiki Flinthart, who also passed from cancer, with all proceeds going to the Melanoma Institute of Australia. Please consider getting a copy! Finally, fuck cancer.
